“ We really enjoyed this place! Even though Sacre Cœur is really touristy and crowded, especially on Easter Sunday, the place was very cosy and full of locals! The food is above average and the menu was decently good! A different side of Paris definitely! ”

No matter who you are come here for an excellent experience. The owners were adorable and lovely. They came very often to the table to speak about their lives and sing too!!! “ We went here one blazing August Sunday. We knew the place was known for being a touch frosty to non-regulars/tourists. Luckily (I think due to my wife being half French and speaking the language flawlessly), the discerning owners accepted us into the garden for lunch. We had a great meal and soon got speaking to the elderly 'regulars' either side of us. Fast forward a few wine soaked hours later, we were in the midst of a lock-in after closing time, singing Edith Piaf songs with the whole restaurant. This culminated in me, the only English person there being bullied into standing on my chair and singing a Beatles song to everyone, solo. It was without a doubt, the best French/restaurant/Sunday experience of my life. I'm glad there are places like this that still exist. Old owners who 'cultivate' their patronage and create a unique local atmosphere. I wouldn't have minded if they told me to get lost due to being English. Fair play to them. A proper old-school French restaurant. Much like some of my favourite old pubs in London, play by the rules and you'll be treated warmly. If you can get in that is. ”
